So I’ll be writing for about ten minutes straight here instead of sending an email out to someone that may not respond. In a way this is more effective because after I clicked ‘Create Post’, I don’t think about getting a response. And it also feels more free because not many people know of this place as of now.
First off, I’d like to thank Muaadh and Priyanka and Khadeeja.
So.
Thank You Muaadh and Priyanka and Khadeeja for helping me understand fractions.
I don’t like fractions.
Muaadh told me there’s a fraction button on the calculator, I’ll use it next time.
Secondly, I’d like to thank Santhu.
So.
Thank you Santhu for extending the bandwidth with a simple phone call. 100 gigs oh yeah!
Because of that I’ve listened to some music online which made me fraction-learning experience more pleasant.
Thirdly, I’d like to thank the team at Grooveshark.
So.
Thank you Grooveshark because your website is AWESOME. Best. music. site.
Last.fm can go suck it with their ‘pay for radio if you’re not american, german, and some other country I forget right now.’ But I take that ‘last.fm can go suck it’ back because I like having an online database about some of the music I listened to.
What else is there? (No, not a Royksopp reference, although that song is great)
I actually thought I would write more in this span.
OH YEAH.
So I’ve been playing around with Jenni’s lomo (after the Agat-30 exploded) and Anita never told me how to use it. So the ten pictures or so I’ve taken probably look like shizniz.
But still, it’ll be cool.
Just to make something clear about me thinking about going into the sciences. It’s not about all about money. It’s not all about parents. It’s about having something concrete. I want to have something concrete. I want to be safe. I don’t really have dreams about being a writer or anything. I just want to be safe. I want to have a home, I want to be able to buy something cool when I see it, I want to be able to freely give, I want to be able to print photos and New York Times Online articles. I want to be able to print a thousand copies of a New York Times article that I like and then leave it everywhere.
I want to have something concrete. I want to have something safe.
Either way, to all ye who say GO FOR YOUR DREAMS.
I disagree completely.
Naah, I’m just kidding, I agree.
I just wanna be safe. I want to be able to guarantee myself some kind of future. There are too many variables in life, and I want to be able to determine some of my variables.
I hope this is long, and I hope it reads like a long email. Because those are good.
