DNA in “ancient” fossils. DNA extracted from bacteria that are supposed to be 425 million years old brings into question that age, because DNA could not last more than thousands of years.

sedimentary rock is dried hard mud. And if there was a worldwide flood, don’t you think the earth would be covered in mud after? And after all those years, it would just dry up to be sedimentary rock. Scientists somehow think this sedimentary rock is millions and billions of years old.

what does that mean though? consistency in what? what research papers have indicated this? what would inconsistency in fossils prove? fossils around the world develop in different circumstances, so they can’t all be the same, as they’re not all…
